Hello !!

Hello!
My name is Kana. Thank you for reading my blog.
Today is the 2nd day of my Maryland trip.
Maryland is hotter than I expected. I think I will get sunburned.
I hope that I can enjoy my trip more!!

Hi Kana, congratulations on creating your first blog in English! You won't get a sunburn if you use sunscreen every day and wear a hat, or carry a parasol to keep the sun off your skin. Sunburns are very painful and dangerous, so please be careful!

Hello, Kana!
This is Hiromi, and I participated the program last year. it's nice to meet you. ^^

Anyway, I can imagine how hot it must be there because it was hot last year as well, and I got a sunburn...!

Oh, I hope the weather gets better and it is not as hot as you found it when you arrived.
Although I live in a country where the weather is rather hot, I don´t particularly like the heat and always use a hat and sunscreen when I go out.
Í am looking forward to reading more about your experiences in America.
All the best,
Berta, Nina´s friend in Venezuela

Hello, Kana S.

Welcome to the U.S. and congratulations on your blog!

Yes, be sure to wear a hat or carry a parasol. Sunburn can definitely be very painful and dangerous!

One time when I was on vacation in Hawai'i, I put sunscreen everywhere except the top of my head. I had some hair on top of my head, then (unlike now), but not as much as I thought--because the next day the entire top of my head was as red as a cooked lobster and it hurt a lot. Since then, I've always made sure that I wear a hat when I'm outside in the summer.

Like Berta, I look forward to reading more in your blog about your experiences in the U.S. I hope you have a wonderful time while you're here and also learn a lot!

Best wishes--

Dennis in Phoenix
