It's not something you find in Japan too often!Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16761694769057306536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6375316405087922217.post-36441214323455961912007-08-08T20:14:00.000-04:002007-08-08T20:14:00.000-04:00I had never visited a newspaper printing plant bef...I had never visited a newspaper printing plant before yesterday, either. I think you got a lot of cultural information from each of these activities.

I was particularly interested to read your reactions to the sizes of clothes here. It's amazing how easy it is to find clothes for really big, tall people (both men and women). Finding smaller sizes is not so easy, however. The numbers used for sizes here are also interesting, I think.

A friend in Brazil wanted to send me a pair of Havaianas (Brazilian "flip-flop" sandals) and she asked me what size. I said 8 and she said "Oh, that's too small! You probably wear a size 39 or 40!" I was surprised at the difference in the numbers!

I hope you continue to enjoy your stay in Maryland.

Dennis in PhoenixDennishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14406878238507555896noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6375316405087922217.post-73446883011070510242007-08-08T14:18:00.000-04:002007-08-08T14:18:00.000-04:00Hello, Kana!Visiting the printing plant of the Was...Hello, Kana!
Visiting the printing plant of the Washington Post sounds really interesting to me becaues I'm interested in seeing something that isn't looked at usually. ^^ Wow, Sophia kissed you?
